Dr. Ritota is able
to enhance or refine areas of the face and neck for both women
and men using surgical procedures and chemical treatments. Adjustments
can also be made for congenital deformities (birth defects) and
abnormalities.
Surgery
of the Nose
(Rhinoplasty)
Surgery to reshape the nose, (rhinoplasty) is among the most
common plastic surgery procedures. This procedure can
reduce or increase the size of the nose, remove an unwanted
hump, change the shape of the nose, narrow the width of the
nostrils, or manipulate the angle between the nose and the
upper lip. The procedure is also used to correct
problems resulting from injury or can help relieve certain
breathing difficulties.
Neck
Lift
(Cervicoplasty and Platysmaplasty)
Turkey wattle neck, excess fat, and too much skin are common complaints from pateints concerned about the appearance of their necks. A neck lift is one of the most popular cosmetic procedures undergone by people to enhance the look of the neck area. It comprises two procedures: cervicoplasty and platysmaplasty. Cervicoplasty is a surgical procedure that removes excess skin, while platysmaplasty alters neck muscles. Neck liposuction for the removal of excess fat and or BOTOX® injections may also be used in conjunction.
Facelift
(Rhytidectomy)
Over time, the long-term effects of gravity, exposure to sun,
dry air, as well as general stress can take a toll on an individual's
face and neckline. Jowls can develop under the jawline
with folds and fat deposits. Creases may form between the
nose and the mouth.
A facelift can considerably reduce
these signs of aging by removing excess fat, tightening the underlying
muscles and redraping the skin around the neck and face. Facelifts
may be done alone or performed in conjunction with another procedure
such as a browlift, eyelid surgery, or nose reshaping. If
your problem areas are limited to the neck, a more conservative
procedure, known as a "neck lift",
will be recommended. |
